DJPHX - EVENTS: Why hire a DJ?

Do you have an event that you need entertainment for?

ENTERTAINMENT COSTS

The biggest dilemma in planning your small to medium sized event is what kind of entertainment to book. Live Bands generally cost up to $800 per member for the night and a band could have 5 or more members costing upwards of $4000. A DJ is much more cost effective. We generally charge $350-500 per event for private events.

BAR AND NIGHTCLUB ENTERTAINMENT

Does your bar, nightclub or resturaunt need something to spice the night up? If you have a unique appetite for music or just want the latest available we can help. Jukeboxes have a limted song selection and you're at the mercy of the customer that puts money in and picks out the music. Once someone puts in $20 and chooses 4 hours of sleepy time music, you'll watch as your other customers run for the doors. A DJ will moderate this for you and choose the best music that the majority of the crowd likes to listen to.

WHY START A KARAOKE NIGHT FOR YOUR BAR?

Karaoke singers will be among your most dedicated and loyal customers. You'll see the same people come in week after week and sometimes even bring friends! They are also the more likely than the average customer to tell others about it if they have an enjoyable time. Its free marketing and it can fill in a slow night at your club if you have one!

SONG SELECTION

The other drawback to having a Live Band as opposed to a DJ is song selection. Bands are limited in the number of songs they can offer to play whereas a DJ can play any song. If your guests have any special requests, there is a far greater possibility that we will have it in our library at your venue. You can also pre-arrange a song list with us of what you would like to have played as well as a limitation on the type(s) of song requests your guests may make because some of your guests might be offended by explicit or vulgar music.

GUEST ENTERTAINMENT VALUE

We also have a wide selection of karaoke music if you feel that your guests might enjoy singing. Even if the singers' musical ability is less than perfect, you'll find that amongst friends anything goes and this will also make for a more memorable experience. We can set aside some time during the night for this type of feature or just play music and videos chosen by us, you or your guests!

A downpayment for one time events may be required prior to commit to that date. Rates for all events are determined on a per case basis unless otherwise agreed per contract. All venues are responsible for obtaining proper licensing agreements as required by law. Primary operating radius for events is within 50 miles of downtown Phoenix. Outside of this area may be subject to additional travel and lodging expenses where required.
